11th Easter Plasma Meeting on
Magnetic reconnection and turbulence in fusion relevant plasmas
Like in previous years, the idea behind the meeting is brainstorming sessions on selected topics. The topics for this year are magnetic reconnection and turbulence in fusion relevant plasmas. The magnetic reconnection session will range from linear and nonlinear tearing modes to basic collisionless reconnection processes, reduced models for reconnection, stochasticity of magnetic field lines. The turbulence session will be built around models used to describe it. Particular attention will be devoted to the fluid models in comparison with the gyrokinetic ones.
The 11th Easter Plasma Meeting will include a special Italian-Egyptian session, organized within the context of the Italian-Egyptian Year of Science and Technology.
You are kindly invited to submit an abstract for poster presentation on these topics.
Each day will include review presentations, a poster session and time for brainstorming discussions. The list of invited speakers is going to be finalized.
All conference participants will be accommodated at Villa Gualino, where a number of single and double rooms have been booked.
